Brackish Aquariums

For people looking to get into a more rare type of aquarium, Brackish Aquariums may be for you. Brackish Aquariums are part saline and part freshwater. The natural environment where brackish water's occur would be where the rivers run into the ocean. The saltwater and freshwater mix and help create estuaries, mangrove swamps and salt marshes.

The animals that live in these aquariums have had to adapt to every changes salinity's and water parameters. Most of the species in this hobby are hardy and can withstand some mistakes someone new to the hobby might make. Brackish fish tanks are more rare and people usually have not seen one much less heard of one. The uniqueness is definitely something everyone you show the aquarium to will enjoy.
